How can I contribute to this weblog?
You can contribute to the weblog in a variety of ways:
- You can post new weblog entries by logging in, viewing the weblog and clicking the "Add a new entry" link in the "Contribute to this weblog" sidebar. (The same icon is available at the right of the toolbar in forum view)
- You can reply to an entry by filling in the quick reply form while viewing the entry. In some weblogs, you can do this without being a member of the site.
- You can reply to an item by viewing the weblog while logged-in and clicking the 'reply' icon in the little toolbar beneath each item.
- You can post a new weblog entry about some other web content you are viewing, by clicking the knote-it bookmarklet tool. (See the 'Get the "blog this page" link' item in the "Contribute to this weblog" sidebar for more information).
- You can post a new weblog entry from an external weblog-editing desktop application, such as ecto or BlogJet. (See the 'Set up external editing' item in the "Contribute to this weblog" sidebar for more information).
If you are a logged-in member of the site, and are permitted to post entries to this weblog, you will see the following sidebar (probably at the left of the weblog pages). That sidebar has links for the most common actions to get you started contributing your own content to the weblog.

The screenshots below explain a bit more about hat the links in that sidebar are for. We'll add more content to explain each of these over the next few days.
